1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
A titleholder’s role isn’t only being a pretty face or appearing at parades. Raising awareness to find a cure for blood cancers via advocacy with The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is my passion. I love that the International system truly embraces making a difference while celebrating marriage and family.
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
I am an endurance athlete. My love of endurance events was born when my husband and I completed our first triathlon to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. In the last eight years, we have completed over twenty triathlons, half – marathons, and marathons throughout the Midwest.
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
I believe “balance” is the key to true healthy living. I enjoy maintaining a regular exercise regime, eating a vegetarian lifestyle and drinking PLENTY of water. Finally and most importantly, I ensure a daily quiet moment for my emotional and spiritual well-being.
4.What is the most random fact you know?
The beauty of family values is they are as unique as the members that make up a particular family unit. Our family highly values trust, love, integrity, and humility in a proactive environment that nurtures and promotes healthy growth without reservation.
5.What is the one thing you’ll never do again?
My worst habit is sometimes my best! I am the consummate "multi-tasker"--as my husband says, I’m always trying to figure a way to fit 10 pounds into a 5 pound bag. He often jokes and reminds me to stop and smell the roses (without squeezing in extra laundry too!
