Amanda
1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
My stage name would be Amanda ‘The Heart’ Mawer because I lead with love and compassion. The name Amanda means ‘worthy of love,’ which reflects how I connect with people. Whether through empowering women, building connections, or championing causes, I bring positivity and high-vibrational energy into every space I enter. ‘The Heart’ captures the values I embody—compassion, strength, and the ability to bring people together.
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
If I could attend a celebrity wedding, it would be Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ renewal ceremony—they’re the ultimate couple goals! Their humor, love, and chemistry are so inspiring, and their wedding would be incredibly stylish, heartfelt, and fun. I’d soak in every detail, from the decor to the fashion and the atmosphere. Plus, I admire them as individuals and as a couple, so witnessing their love would be a dream come true!
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
I can’t say I’ve ever received a truly weird gift. My friends and family know me well, so gifts have always been thoughtful or lighthearted. Even the questionable bridal shower gift or the cheeky Galentine’s surprises I received made me laugh and created fun memories. I feel lucky my family and friends keep it interesting, but never too weird.
4.What is the most random fact you know?
Whippets are the fastest dogs of their size, running up to 35 mph! My Bella even ran 32 mph in the Fast CAT during states! They’re nicknamed ‘the poor man’s racehorse’ in England and are bred to race and hunt. A Whippet named Sounders actually holds the Guinness World Record for the farthest dock jump, leaping 36 feet 6 inches in 2022. Spitfire, another famous Whippet I follow, has broken multiple records, but has yet to beat Sounders.
5.What is the one thing you’ll never do again?
One thing I’ll never do again is let self-doubt hold me back. In the past, I hesitated to take bold steps out of fear, missing opportunities for growth. Once, I declined a leadership role because I doubted my abilities. Reflecting back, I see how embracing it would have enriched me and provided fulfillment. Now, I trust my capabilities and seize opportunities true to my passions and values.
